TRIO BASSOSO - op.13 for 3 Bass Clarinets

The Trio Bassoso was composed in 2009 und has been the most succesfull composition in sales. Written for the rare combination of three bass clarinets it has been performed all over the world.

The brief work consists of three movements, all with dance-like rhythms: Scherzando in 5/8; Andante serioso in 6/8; Vivo in 9/8. While all players are required to have an extended-range instrument (to low C), the demands on range are otherwise quite limited.
